Description
GSDT-OSW is a rack mount, A/B Style optical switch. It provides users monitoring and switching capabilities for fiber networks. The Model automatically switches from the primary optical source to the secondary optical source whenever the primary source is interrupted. The user can set the threshold criteria to decide when a switch occurs. After a switch has occurred, when the primary source again exceeds the user-defined threshold, normal (un-switched) operation is resumed. An alarm informs the user when either the primary or secondary input levels fall below the preset limit.
